Complete protection on an XEV 9e
Every painted panel, the sunroof, the cabin surfaces and the windows on one Mahindra XEV 9e, and the order we fitted them in.

Film on a black Range Rover Velar
Black paint shows every mark, so the Velar was polished under the grid first, then covered in Avery Dennison Optima Plus film.

Getting film to sit flat on chrome
Film slides around on chrome and any trapped air shows, so we cut a bigger piece than we need and ease it on without pulling it tight.

A stripe by brush, or cut from vinyl
A brush line follows the curve of the tank and stays for good, a vinyl stripe is cut to one width and peels off later, and we do both.

Checking paint under the ceiling grid
We check paint by the reflection of the LED grid on our ceiling, where a bent line means a dent and a fuzzy one means swirl marks too fine to see head-on.

What we mean by before and after
Before is the paint as it arrives and after is the same paint corrected under the grid, which is why we polish before any film or coating goes on.

Why big panels take two installers
Two installers go on every large sheet of film, one lining it up and one holding the rest steady, so nobody has to hold a corner and lay it at once.
